The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, combined with its rigid galvanized steel frame construction, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as hospitals. The filter is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, with box-style and single header options, and comes in depths of 6" or 12". It can be used as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the application. The robust design ensures it withstands unfavorable conditions, including variable air volume (VAV) systems.
