The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals, particularly effective in high humidity environments. It features a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame, available in 6" or 12" depths, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings in box-style and single header configurations, making it suitable as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. Its robust construction withstands unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
