The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, serving as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in high humidity environments, including commercial and industrial buildings as well as hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in a box-style and single header design with 6" or 12" depths. It has a galvanized steel frame and can be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. The robust filter construction allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
