The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and a rigid construction that virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in a box-style and single header design with available depths of 6" or 12" in a galvanized steel frame. This robust filter can be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially variable air volume (VAV) systems.
