The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15 in a box-style and single header configuration, with galvanized steel frames available in 6" or 12" depths. This robust filter can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application, and it is capable of withstanding unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
