The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for various commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that offers excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction helps to virtually eliminate dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. This filter serves as a suitable replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, as well as in commercial, industrial buildings, and hospitals. It is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, and comes in box-style and single header configurations, with options for 6-inch or 12-inch depths. The filter is housed in a galvanized steel frame and can function as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the specific application. Its robust design allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
