The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, while its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and can be used as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings in a box-style and single header design with galvanized steel frames, offered in 6" or 12" depths. It can be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
