The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, suitable as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. The high lofted ultrafine synthetic media provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, with box-style and single header options, and depths of 6" or 12". The robust filter can be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and withstands unfavorable conditions, especially variable air volume (VAV) systems.
