The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, providing excellent dust holding capacity due to its high lofted ultrafine synthetic media and rigid construction that minimizes dust particle unloading downstream. This filter is suitable for various applications, including replacement for pocket filters in high humidity conditions, hospitals, and other commercial and industrial buildings. It is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, with options for box-style and single header configurations, and depths of either 6 inches or 12 inches. It features a galvanized steel frame, and can serve as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the application, while its robust design enables it to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) environments.
