The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. The high lofted ultrafine synthetic media provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream. The filter is suitable as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in high humidity environments, and it can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. It is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15 in a box-style and single header configuration, with 6" or 12" depth options. The robust filter withstands unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
