The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15 in both box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6" or 12". It is suitable as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
