The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter made with high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, combined with its rigid galvanized steel frame construction available in 6" or 12" depths, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 box-style and single header configurations. It is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) applications, and can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application.
