The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. It features a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, due to its rigid construction, effectively prevents dust particle unloading downstream. The filter options include MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, and it is available in both box-style and single header configurations. With depths of 6 inches or 12 inches, the filter is constructed with a galvanized steel frame, making it suitable for use as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. This robust filter is specifically designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
