The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media which provides excellent dust holding capacity, while its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. This filter serves as a replacement for pocket filters in applications where a rigid filter is required, particularly in high humidity environments, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, presented in a box-style and single header configuration with options for 6" or 12" depths. It is constructed with a galvanized steel frame, making it suitable for use as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on specific application needs. Additionally, this robust filter is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
