The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity. Its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. This filter is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters in conditions that require a rigid filter, including high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. It is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in box-style and single header configurations with either 6" or 12" depths. The galvanized steel frame allows the filter to be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. The robust filter construction withstands unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
