The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for various commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. This filter features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that offers excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction minimizes dust particle unloading downstream. It is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, in both box-style and single header options, and comes in depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. The filter is constructed with a galvanized steel frame and can serve as either a pre-filter or final filter based on the application. Its robust design allows it to withstand challenging conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) settings.
