The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, with options for box-style and single header designs in 6" or 12" depths. It can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems. The filter is suitable as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as hospitals.
