The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It serves as a replacement for pocket filters when a rigid filter is required, especially in high humidity environments, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and hospitals. The filter features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media, which provides excellent dust holding capacity and virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream. Available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, the filter can be obtained in box-style and single header designs with depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. It is constructed with a galvanized steel frame and can function as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. This robust filter is engineered to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
