The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, combined with its rigid galvanized steel frame construction, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters in applications requiring a rigid filter or conditions involving high humidity, including commercial and industrial buildings as well as hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in both box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6" or 12". It can be utilized as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially variable air volume (VAV) systems.
