The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including use in hospitals and high humidity environments. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and a rigid galvanized steel frame that virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in box-style and single header configurations with 6" or 12" depths. Its robust construction allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) applications, and it can be used either as a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the specific system requirements.
