The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter serves as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. It is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15 in box-style and single header options with 6" or 12" depths. The frame is made of galvanized steel, making it suitable for use as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. This robust filter is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
