The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed with a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters in applications requiring a rigid filter, including high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6" or 12". It features a galvanized steel frame and can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. The robust construction allows the filter to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
