The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals and high humidity environments. It features a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. Available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, the filter comes in box-style and single header configurations with options for 6" or 12" depths. This robust filter can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application, and it is built to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
