The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals and buildings with high humidity. The high lofted ultrafine synthetic media provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, with box-style and single header options, and comes in 6" or 12" depths. The robust filter can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is capable of withstanding unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
