The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity. Its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and is used as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in environments with high humidity, including commercial and industrial buildings as well as hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, with box-style and single header options, and comes in 6" or 12" depth galvanized steel frames. It can be employed as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application. This robust filter is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially those involving variable air volume (VAV) systems.
