The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features a high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, due to its rigid construction, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. This filter serves as a suitable replacement for pocket filters in situations requiring a rigid filter or in high humidity environments, including commercial and industrial buildings and hospitals. Available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, the filter comes in box-style and single header configurations with depths of either 6 inches or 12 inches. It is constructed with a galvanized steel frame, allowing it to function effectively as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on application needs. Additionally, this robust filter is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
