The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. This filter features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream. It is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, offered in box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. The filter is built with a galvanized steel frame, making it suitable for use as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the specific application. Additionally, the robust design allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
