The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals, and is suitable as a replacement for pocket filters in high humidity environments. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid galvanized steel frame construction, available in 6" or 12" depths, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15 in box-style and single header configurations. Its robust design allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems. The filter can be used as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the application.
