The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity while its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. This filter serves as a replacement for pocket filters when a rigid filter is required, particularly in high humidity environments, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and hospitals. Available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, it offers options for box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. Constructed with a galvanized steel frame, the filter can be utilized as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the specific application, and it is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
