The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, serving as a replacement for pocket filters when a rigid filter is required or in high humidity conditions. The filter features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and a rigid construction that prevents dust particle unloading downstream. It is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, and comes in box-style and single header configurations with depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. The filter is constructed with a galvanized steel frame and is suitable for use as either a pre-filter or a final filter, particularly effective in unfavorable conditions, including variable air volume (VAV) environments.
