The Leeson M1125071.00 is a 1/8 HP, 51 RPM, 90 VDC, TENV DC gearmotor featuring a 35:1 gear ratio and a maximum overhung load capacity of 277 pounds. It delivers full load torque of 130 lb-in and comes with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure and a 30 frame size. This unit is designed for continuous duty and includes precision machined in-line steel gears, featuring a first stage steel helical gear followed by spur-type gears. The lubrication system utilizes permanent semi-fluid grease to minimize leakage, while the output shafts are equipped with needle bearings for enhanced load capacities and are made of hardened steel. Although the motor can be mounted at any angle, it is recommended to avoid positioning the shaft upwards with the motor below to prevent lubricant leakage in case of a shaft seal failure. The motor's stall torque is greater than the recommended full load torques, and a current limiting device, such as an SCR control, should be employed to prevent potential damage. It is compatible with Bison model 011-336-2036, Bodine 4154, and shares the same mounting dimensions as Bison's 300 and many Dayton gearmotors. Conduit box is not included with the motor.
