The DC gearmotor features a parallel shaft design with a power rating of 1/4HP and operates at 27 RPM, delivering a gear ratio of 91 to 1. It has an overhung load capacity of 374 pounds and a full load torque of 305 lb. in. Constructed with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure, it comes in a 34 frame size and operates at 90V with a nameplate current of 1.5 amps. This gearmotor is crafted for continuous duty service, utilizing a durable aluminum die-cast housing that maximizes gear and bearing support along with precision machined gearing that has been hardened for enhanced load capabilities. The gearing meets AGMA class 9 standards and can withstand a momentary shock overload of 200%. Key features include oversized output bearings for increased overhung load capacity and extended life, as well as a high-carbon alloy output shaft for optimal strength and rigidity. The gearmotor employs precision-ground needle bearing journals after heat treating for superior finish and fit, and its heavy-duty industrial oil seals prevent lubricant loss and dirt ingress. The internal gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. Conduit box not included with the motor. The gearmotors are designed for versatile mounting at any angle, though shaft-up configurations with the motor below are discouraged to avoid lubricant leakage in case of shaft seal failure.
