The gearmotor is housed in a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure, constructed on a 30 frame, and operates at 90V with a nameplate current of 0.54 amps. Designed for continuous duty, it employs precision machined in-line steel gears, including a first stage steel helical gear followed by spur-type gears, and utilizes permanent semi-fluid grease for lubrication to minimize leakage. The output shafts, which are hardened steel, feature needle bearings for high load capacity. The motor is intended for mounting at an angle, but caution is advised to prevent lubricant leakage into the motor from the reducer. Stall torque can exceed the recommended full load torque; thus, a current limiting device is suggested for applications with anticipated stall conditions. Overhung load capacities are calculated at the center of the output shaft.
