The DC gearmotor features a parallel shaft design with a power rating of 1/17 HP and operates at 100 RPM, offering a gear ratio of 18 to 1. It has an overhung load capacity of 171 pounds and delivers a full load torque of 36 lb. in. The gearmotor is constructed with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure, comes in a 30 frame size, and operates at 90V with a nameplate current of 0.8 amps. Designed for continuous duty, this motor employs precision machined in-line steel gears, featuring a first stage steel helical gear followed by spur-type gears, lubricated with a permanent semi-fluid grease to minimize leakage. The output shafts are equipped with needle bearings for high load capacities and are made of hardened steel. Although the motor is designed for angled mounting, it should not be mounted below the reducer to prevent potential lubricant leakage due to motor shaft seal failure. The motor's stall torque may exceed the specified full load torque, and the use of a current limiting device is recommended for such scenarios. Overhung load capacities are determined at the center of the output shaft.
