The Leeson Motors DC motor features a 1/3HP power rating, operates at 1800 RPM, and has a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure within an S56C frame. Designed for continuous duty at 12V, this motor is ideal for applications utilizing battery or solar power, as well as generator-supplied low voltage DC. Its high torque, continuous duty design is complemented by easy access brushes for servicing and large over-sized brushes that ensure longer brush life. The motor includes a removable stamp steel base, permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings, and high starting torque. It offers linear speed/torque performance across its entire speed range, is capable of dynamic braking, and features two-lead connections for simple rotation reversing.
