The Southwire 28828255 Romex Simpull® cable with ground is designed for various applications, featuring yellow 12/2 AWG conductors and a length of 250 ft. This nonmetallic-sheathed cable (type NM-B) is suitable for both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations, with a temperature rating not to exceed 90°C (with ampacity limited to that of 60°C conductors). It is rated for 600 volts and can be run in air voids of masonry block or tile walls that are not wet or damp. The cable meets or exceeds UL standard 83, UL standard 719, and federal specification A-A-59544, as well as the requirements of the National Electrical Code. Constructed with annealed (soft) copper conductors, the cable is available as 2, 3, or 4 conductor configurations, with stranded conductors being compressed stranded. The conductor insulation is made from 90°C-rated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a nylon jacket, and it features Southwire's Simpull® design for easier pulling and installation. The jacket is color-coded for quick size identification: white for 14 AWG, yellow for 12 AWG, orange for 10 AWG, and black for 8 AWG and 6 AWG.
