The Southwire 22956783 THHN 14 gauge building wire is a stranded type wire provided in a 50 ft length, suitable for various applications in conduit and cable trays, specifically for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial settings as outlined by the 2008 National Electrical Code. This wire can be utilized as Type THHN or T90 nylon for dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90 °C, and as Type THWN-2 or TWN75 for wet or dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90 °C or 75 °C when in contact with oil. Additionally, when used as Type MTW, it is suitable for wet locations or those exposed to oil, with a maximum temperature of 60 °C or 90 °C in dry locations, adhering to ampacity ratings for 75 °C conductors per NFPA 79. The conductor's temperature must not exceed 105 °C in dry locations when rated AWM and used as appliance wiring material. Voltage ratings are up to 600 volts, and installation can occur without the need for pulling lubricant.
