The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets features an attractive design and sturdy construction, offering reliable storage for moisture and UV-sensitive products. It includes an extensive selection of sizes, styles, and colors tailored to meet specific dry storage needs. The cabinets are constructed from Durastar® co-polyester, which blocks 99% of UV light and resists staining, crazing, and chemical attack. They feature rear mounted gas ports that are tapered to accept tubing with ½" I.D., while amber color models reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them ideal for storing light-sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and investigational compounds. The large doors maximize access to the interior space and are designed with a patented seal, tab latches, and security loops for a padlock or tamper-evident seals. Perforated shelves promote dry air circulation and there is space for desiccant storage beneath the bottom shelf. The easy-to-view digital hygrometer is located on the door front, and the side-swinging door opens to the left. The cabinet has a compact footprint of 34.1W x 41.4cm, allowing for space-saving storage and the ability to stack up to three units high. Replacement shelves are available, and the cabinets can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and ordering the appropriate number of shelves. Gas ports can be closed for use with standard desiccant cartridges, including models F420450250, F420450200, and F420480100.
