The Secador® Auto-Desiccator cabinets are designed to protect valuable humidity-sensitive items, such as reagents and electronics, with fully automatic operation. The cabinets feature a patented electronic desiccant regeneration module that recharges the desiccant every 20 minutes, significantly outperforming other auto-desiccators that regenerate every 4 to 6 hours. They maintain low relative humidity levels on start-up and consistently keep low %RH, even with frequent access. Constructed from Durastar® Co-Polyester, the cabinets block 99% of UV light and resist staining, crazing, and chemical attacks, with amber color models reducing visible light penetration by over 50%. The automatic dehumidification and desiccant regeneration cycle operates continuously, while color-indicating silica gel provides a quick visual confirmation of desiccant status. Additional features include a large door with an easy-to-view digital hygrometer, a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals, with the door opening right to left. The compact dimensions of 34.1W x 41.4CMD (13.4 x 16.3") allow for space-saving stacking of up to two units high. Customers can choose from a variety of sizes, styles, and colors in 100, 120, or 230V (CE marked) models suitable for global use, with 230V units equipped with a power cord/transformer that includes Q-NA, Q-SAA, Q-UK, and Q-EU input connectors. Replacement shelves are available, and the design allows for conversion from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and ordering the appropriate number of shelves.
