Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, ensuring to confirm whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Choose the control power used to close the contactor and select the overload by choosing a current range that contains the FLA from the previous step. The options for the starter include incoming power configurations: "direct-online starter" for the same control voltage as line voltage, or "separate control voltage" if they differ. For activation from an external switch, remote start terminals can be included. The technical specifications of the starter include a current rating of 9A, compatibility with single-phase power, a separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a Start/Stop function, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and a 3.1-4.2A overload.
