To select the appropriate starter, it is essential to verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor nameplate, ensuring it matches the input voltage and confirming whether the power is 1-phase or 3-phase. The starter must be rated for a current higher than the FLA. Additionally, control power needs to be selected based on whether it will be direct from the line power or a separate voltage, which may require options for remote start terminals if activation from an external switch is necessary. This kit features a 9A 1-phase configuration with remote start terminals, includes a reset button, and operates on a 100-250V AC/DC coil, with an overload relay rating of 4.2-5.7A, all housed within a durable NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
