Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. These assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, it is essential to refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage. The choice between single-phase or three-phase power must also be confirmed, ensuring the selected starter is rated for current (amps) higher than the motor's FLA. The control power to close the contactor and the overload current range containing the motor's FLA also need to be addressed. The starter options include configurations for incoming power, distinguishing between direct-online starters and those with separate control voltage. Additional features include 9A 1-phase separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, and a 24-60V AC/DC coil, accommodating overloads ranging from 4.2A to 5.7A. The device is enclosed in NEMA 4X polycarbonate, ensuring durability and compliance with relevant standards.
