Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage. Confirm whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power and choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Select the control power used to close the contactor and choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. Incoming power options include "direct-online starter" for the same line and control voltage, "separate control voltage" for different voltages, and configurations with "remote start terminals" for external switch activation. The featured model includes a 9A 1-phase separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button only, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, a 7.6-10A overload relay, and is housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
