Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter for your application, first refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Next, select the control power used to close the contactor and choose the overload by selecting a current range that encompasses the motor's FLA. The starting options include a direct-online starter, a separate control voltage, or adding terminals for remote start functionality if the starter needs to be activated from an external switch. Key features of this product include a 12A three-phase direct online start/stop capability, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and an overload range of 2.3-3.1A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
