Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to confirm the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, ensuring you identify whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA, and select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be chosen by selecting a current range that encompasses the motor's FLA. The kit includes features such as a 12A 1-phase separate coil voltage with remote start terminals that allow for start/stop functionality at a coil voltage of 100-250V AC/DC, and an overload relay rated for 5.7-7.6A, all housed in a durable NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
