Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor, and then select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be selected based on a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. Optional criteria include choosing incoming power configuration such as a "direct-online starter" for same line and control voltage or "separate control voltage" for different voltages. Remote start terminals can be added for activation from an external switch while maintaining the same voltage. Key features include a 12A 1-phase separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button only, and a 24-60V AC/DC coil with a 2.3-3.1A overload. The product complies with NEMA 4X standards and comes with a warranty as per manufacturer terms.
