Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to confirm whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor, select the control power used to close the contactor, and then choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power configurations, such as a "direct-online starter," "separate control voltage," or "remote start terminals" for activation from an external switch. Features include a 16A 3-phase separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a start/stop 24-60V AC/DC coil, and a 13-16A overload relay housed within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
