Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter for your application, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, and confirm whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor and select the control power used to close the contactor. Choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. The options available include a direct-online starter, separate control voltage, or remote start terminals if the starter needs to be activated from an external switch. Specific features include 16A capacity, 1 phase, separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button only, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, 5.7-7.6A overload, and compliance with NEMA 4X standards.
