Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters that accommodate motors up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage supplied, ensuring to confirm if it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. It is important to choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the motor's FLA. Additionally, select the control power used to close the contactor and choose the overload based on a current range that encompasses the motor's FLA. Options available include Direct-On-Line starters, Separate Control Voltage, and configurations with Remote Start Terminals for external switch activation. Key features include 26A 3-phase Direct Online Start/Stop, 250-500V AC/DC coil, and a 13-16A overload relay.
