Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, refer to the motor nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the supplied input voltage and confirm whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA. The control power used to close the contactor must be selected, and the overload should be chosen based on a current range that includes the FLA. The options available for selection include incoming power configurations, with options for direct-online starters, separate control voltage, and remote start terminals. The specified features of the starter include a rating of 26A, compatibility with three-phase power, remote start terminals, start/stop functionality, a coil voltage of 250-500V AC/DC, an overload relay rated for 20-24A, and a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
